This is day 32 of our wisconsin trip. We rolled out of the Lebanon KOA at about 10:00 AM and made the four and a half hour drive to ine of my favorite KOA’s; the Checotah/Lake Eufaula KOA.

This is a really small but nice KOA about nine miles off highway 69 in Oklahoma. they have nice pull through gravel sites that are level, full hookups with 50 Amp service, a large pool and shady playground. They also have a barn on the property so you will here a rooster greet the morning. You will see some other animals too.

The owners are among the friendliest you will find and they maintain the campground well.

Even though we were stopping for only one night we unhooked the trailer. This would be our last chance to have a full clean out of the black tank before we got home; so we set up the sewer connections as well.

We decided to run back to Checotah to pick up dinner. We opted for “Charlies Chicken” a fast food fried chicken joint. It was excellent, and their sides were also great.

Eva enjoyed laying in her coolaroo and watching a few dogs at a nearby cabin. We actually started to consider adding another night to our stay but knew Eva was ready to be home. She needs more exercise like running the yard and swimming in the pool. So the final ride is tomorrow for four hours to home. Here are some pictures from the campground.

Where else will a roosrer get you up?!
Nice level sites
Well maintained dog park
