Everyone who pulls a travel trailer probably know Loves is a great place to get fuel. If you have the EFS card, then it is an even better choice! Click here to read about the EFS card, and how it saves us money.
Now Love’s has branched into full support mode for those of us that are towing our campers. They have RV hookups and RV stops which provides RV’ers with a safe and clean environment to stop at while traveling to and from their destination campground. Guests can make reservations, pay and check in and check out on their own devices, or at the designated Kiosks that are located on site. Most have full hook-ups at every site, including Wi-Fi and 30-Amp and 50-Amp service.
They actually have more RV parking spots and amenities than any other national travel stop network. If you need a propane refill, a dump station, a private shower, or laundry facilities, you’re in luck – they have that! If you travel with dogs, you will be happy to know that all Loves being constructed will be built with a dog park, and in the meantime they are adding dog parks to the existing Loves locations.
Some of these locations have close sites that are pretty much parking lots with hookups. However, what do you really need when you are just looking for an easy on/easy off location during travel. It looks like the going rate for a one night stop is $39.50. That’s not to bad when you figure that you will pay more than that at a KOA. In fact, some are actually campgrounds, like the Loves in Normal, Illinois which has a very large campground and their price is 37.50 per night. Click here to see their campground.
Their are 20+ locations so far with 30 more being added before the end of the year!
Someone at Love’s was really thinking when the campground shortage started, and now they have capitalized on it – good for them…and good for us!
