As I mentioned earlier, I wasn’t going to do a review of our first stop at Robbers Cave State Park in Oklahoma, because we had already blogged about that location a few weeks ago. However, just a bit of information on that first day:

For some reason the day we were leaving home I discovered the LP was off at the fridge over night.  The food inside was cool because I had it running for a few days before I loaded it. My first thought was that perhaps I had an LP leak, even though I had just done a drop test.  So I pulled the LP cover and both tanks were full.  I am guessing there may have been residual air in the line that caused it to fail.  Now the food in freezer is soft, and thats not good.

So off we go one Day 1! Then 15 minutes into the trip and a truck passing in the opposite direction kicks up a rock and puts a nice hole in my windshield. Worse yet, it’s in my line of sight so it’s going to take a whole new windshield.

The rest of the trip to Robbers Cave was pleasantly uneventful. Once we arrive we easily back in and set up for our one night stay.

Eva immediately remembers the campground and actually leads me to our last site when we take a walk.  Once again at this park there is absolutely no cell service. I checked and still no water at the dump station but they finally have their signage up and it looks great.

So we settle in for the night and the plan is to get on the road by 9:00 AM, so we can arrive at the Linn Creek KOA in Missouri by 3:00 PM.

Stay tuned…
