Wow, the storm that is heading towards North Texas is going to be very dangerous. They are predicting 70 mph winds with baseball sized hail and possible tornado activity. So, it’s going to get ugly tonight.

Storm Outlook for the DFW Area.

If you are camping in North Texas tonight, I would not take a “Wait and see” attitude with this storm; given the type of damage the meteorologists are predicting. You will be much better off to get packed up and moving to a safer area of Texas. now!

For those living in these areas, you will want to make sure you have your weather radios turned on; and have a plan should the weather become dangerous.

Now, while we are not camping right now, our travel trailer is in an equally precarious position since it is 50 miles from here at a dealership. They have told me that the plan is to have it inside tonight – I hope that’s true. The reason it is at the dealer will be the subject of my next post once I get it back (which should be within the week).

In the meantime, remember, you can always replace a trailer, so play it safe and protect yourselves. Stay Safe!
